Founded by Martin Bauer, we combine technical know-how with commercial expertise and a special feel for the needs of discerning clients, hotels and interior designers.

Founder Martin Bauer - expertise with vision

Martin Bauer has many years of experience as a commercial manager in a renowned interior design office in Munich. There he was responsible for the commercial project management and construction management of interior design projects in the premium and luxury segment.

His career:

Marketing & Startups: Entrepreneurial experience with founding an agency and internet startups.

Interior management: Commercial director of an interior design office, management of high-profile projects for private clients and hotels.

Further training: Certified construction manager (TÜV SÜD) with a focus on construction and public procurement law, construction project management and expertise in construction damage and construction defects.

Why did you found BAUMEISTERWERK?

After many years in a management position in the interior design sector and as an expert in the industry, I have seen how often clients and interior designers fail due to the same hurdles: unclear processes, lack of transparency, lack of independence. I wanted to set a new standard with BAUMEISTERWERK: Exclusive construction projects that are implemented with clarity, structure and perfection - and that bring joy to everyone involved.

A general contractor works with fixed prices and has its own economic interest in purchasing services as cheaply as possible. With us, it's different: we work exclusively in the interests of our customers, independently of trades or manufacturers. Our flat-rate fees make costs predictable and avoid conflicts of interest.

Our clients are private clients in the luxury segment, interior designers and interior architects who are looking for a reliable addition for implementation, as well as hoteliers and investors in the premium segment. We are active throughout Germany, with a focus on Munich and southern Germany.

Our approach is clear: interior designers are the creative and design authority of a project. We ensure that their vision is perfectly realized. We take on the commercial and organizational burden so that designers can concentrate on what they do best: Designing and creating spaces. At the same time, we bring them potential new clients who value outstanding design.

Independence from manufacturers and craftsmen, meticulousness to perfection and the will to enrich others emotionally and materially. We also believe that exclusive construction projects can only be successful if everyone involved works together as equals and transparency is a matter of course.
